UTSUNOMIYA (Japan) - Miami (USA) star Jimmer Fredette was on fire in Japan as he led his side to the World Tour Opener win, earning himself MVP honours on April 28.

    UTSUNOMIYA (Japan) - Miami (USA) star Jimmer Fredette was on fire in Japan as he led his side to the World Tour Opener win, earning himself MVP honours on April 28.

    A 36-point tournament from the American sharpshooter paved the way for a monumental result for Miami. He was the engine for his side throughout the event, including an 8-point game in the final against reigning champions Ub Huishan NE. 

    He was clutch for his side all tournament, knocking in numerous important game winners, none more so than the title clinching two in the final.

    With a player value of 41.3 and a stop win to boot, Fredette capped off a successful event with the MVP award.
