    Coach Adingono says the Golden Jubilee that FIBA Africa attain this year is worth being celebrated as the standard of basketball especially the Afrobasket is on the rise.

    “I am impressed with what I have seen here with teams improving with every championship, it is a thing of joy to note that I am part of the 26th edition of Afrobasket especially in the year that FIBA Africa attain fifty years.

    “The standard of the 2011 edition of the championship here in Madagascar is high compare what we have in the past and this is the direct effort FIBA Africa is putting into the development of basketball across Africa especially the Secretary General and members of the Secretariat staffs.

    “Cameroon is here to fight for the London 2012 Olympic ticket and that can also be said of other top teams here, the Cameroon coach concluded.
