BOLOGNA (Lega A) - Virtus Bologna have suspended Alan Anderson, Will Conroy, Delonte Holland and Dewarick Spencer for the what the club has described as "grave disciplinary reasons".
The club, which is hoping to challenge for honours in Lega A and the Euroleague, have not revealed what the players did to earn their punishment.
Virtus said in a statement on their website: "Virtus announces that players Alan Anderson, Will Conroy, Delonte Holland and Dewarick Spencer have been punished for grave disciplinary reasons with suspension until the club announces the measures it will take against them."
Virtus, who are now coached by Stefano Pillastrini, have won two of their opening three games in Lega A.
Their Euroleague opener is on October 24, at home to Zalgiris Kaunas.
