BOLOGNA (Lega A) - The sweeping changes at Climamio Bologna have continued with the triple signing of Vasco Evtimov, Preston Shumpert and Jamel Thomas.

After a turbulent month, which has seen the arrival of new directors and the potential departure of coach Jasmin Repesa, the revolution shows no sign of stopping among the playing squad.

Former France center Evtimov, 29, has signed a one-year contract from Upea Capo d'Orlando, returning to the club where he played in the 2001-02 season.

He is likely to come up against brother Ilian in one of the most fiercely contested derbies in club basketball, after he joined city rivals Virtus.

Americans Shumpert, 27, and Thomas, 26, have penned two and three-year deals respectively.

Forward Shumpert has joined from Armani Jeans Milano, while Thomas is preparing for his maiden season in Europe.

He has 33 NBA games under his belt with the likes of San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls.

Climamio have already waved goodbye to guard Kiwane Garris, with the defensive specialist deciding to sign for Armani Jeans, where he will be joined by center Travis Watson.

Slovenian pair Sani Becirovic and Erazem Lorbek have been snapped up by Panathinaikos and Unicaja Malaga respectively.
In addition, French star Yakhouba Diawara will play in the NBA after joining Denver Nuggets.
