    ROME (Lega A) - Scavolini Pesaro picked up their first win of Italy's Lega A season on Sunday as they eclipsed Benetton Treviso 85-69.

    Scavolini were always in command and took the first three quarters, losing the final period by a single point as they eased up.

    Pervis Pasco poured in 22 points with all his shots coming from close range and an 11 from 14 success rate. He also hauled down 10 boards while Keydren Clark (18) and Carlton Myers (15) also made impressive contributions.

    Angelico Biella prevailed 92-81 at La Fortezza Bologna after establishing a 60-39 half-time lead. Troy Bell claimed game-high honours with 22 points.

    Snaidero Udine beat Cimberio Varese 83-62 after a poor first quarter which their hosts took 23-16. Brooks Sales achieved a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

    Drake Diener top scored with 23 points as Pierrel Capo d'Orlando beat Eldo Napoli on Sunday.

    Italian champions Montepaschi Siena are showing no signs of resting on their laurels after posting an 83-77 win over Air Avellino on Saturday.

    Siena had hit the ground running last week with an 87-57 demolition of Snaidero Udinese but had to work harder on Saturday.

    Avellino edged the first quarter 20-19 but Siena took the second period 29-18 to take charge of the match.

    Terrell McIntyre poured in 27 points including six from eight inside the arc and three from eight from downtown. From the charity stripe he converted six from seven. Rimantas Kaukenas poured in 24.

    Also with a 2-0 record are Tisettanta Cantu, who beat Legea Scafati 70-60, while Upim Bologna are also 100% after a 79-75 win at Premiata Montegranaro on the back of 27 points from Horace Jenkins.

    Solsonica Rieti pulled off a sensational 92-79 win over Armani Jeans Milano with Pape Sow pouring in 23 points and hauling down six rebounds.
