REGGIO EMILIA (Lega A) - Ramel Curry was in inspired form as Air Avellino edged hosts Bipop Carire Reggio Emilia 84-80 in Saturday`s Lega A game. Curry poured in 30 points and was seven from 10 inside the paint and three from three from distance. He also converted seven of eight throws from the charity stripe.

The game was tied at 75-75 but Air had the better of the closing minutes and appropriately it was Curry who blocked a lay-up that would have put Bipop level before then being fouled and sealing the win from the free throw line.
