ITA - Cantu, Siena book finals places

MILAN (Lega A) - Bennet Cantu will face Montepaschi Siena in the Lega A finals after both teams came through their semi-finals over the weekend.

Bennet Cantu wrapped up a 3-1 series victory over Armani Jeans Milano on Sunday night with a 74-62 win, making it to the finals for the first time since 1981.

Mike Green scored 17 points and Vladimir Micov had 12 to lift them to victory.

In Game 3, Milano had stayed alive with a 70-56 win behind 18 points from David Hawkins, but it proved only a temporary reprieve.

Cantu will now face a Siena side that completed a 3-0 series sweep of Benetton Treviso with a 68-56 win on Saturday night.

Bo McCalebb scored 17 points while Ksistof Lavrinovic added 15.
