Vladivostock thrilled the home crowd by winning the FIBA 3x3 World Tour event in Vladivostok, Russia on Saturday.
In an All-Russian Final that pitted them against Khabarovsk, the host team just had more left in the tank following a full day of action to came away deserving winners 16-10.
Vladivostock out-hustled their opponents and grinded out a victory that wasn't so much pretty to watch as much as it was effective.
The loss will be something of a disappointment for Khabarovsk as they had used some inspired play to reach the title game.
In their Semi-Final against the other Russian team in the tournament, Amur, a barrage of tough and at times contested perimeter shots allowed Khabarovsk to send the game into overtime where they edged out their fellow countrymen.
By reaching the title game, Khabarovsk did enough to join Vladivostok at the 3x3 World Tour Final in Miami, USA (22-23 September).
Meanwhile, Amur bounced back from their Semi-Final defeat to handily beat New Taipei City.
In the individual events, Australia's Eamon Larma-Ripon won the Dunk Contest, while Chinese Taipei City's Chun-An Yu edged out Simon Hughes in the Samsung Shoot Out Contest.
