Hosts Romania perfect in Group A

Romania put on a show in front of their home fans in Tulcea, finishing Group A with a 4-0 record to punch their ticket to the Quarter-Finals.

A comfortable 75-65 win over the Netherlands capped off their Group Phase, with double-digit wins over Azerbaijan, Iceland and Portugal before that. They were led by Daria Ilies, who averaged 19.0 points and 7.8 rebounds over their four contests.

Iceland also qualified from Group A, finishing with a 3-1 record.

Greece work hard to get into last eight

Following relegation to Division B last year, Greece are aiming for promotion back to Division A at the first time of asking, and they head to the Quarter-Finals with an unblemished 4-0 record from Group D.

Apostolia Zormpala has been their offensive anchor, averaging 19.0 points per game thus far, but despite their perfect mark from their four games played, they have to work hard for it.

A narrow 68-63 win over Great Britain was followed by a convincing 73-42 triumph over North Macedonia. They worked hard for their 72-60 victory over Denmark, sandwiched in between a 78-60 success over Slovakia.

Great Britain's vital win over Denmark booked their ticket into the Quarter-Finals, finishing second.

    Israel coast into the Quarter-Finals

Israel were superb throughout the Group Phase, finishing 4-0 in Group B with a winning average of 27.2 points.

Their closest battle came in their opener, where they fought back from a first-quarter deficit to beat Switzerland 72-66, but from there, big wins over Norway, Bulgaria and Ukraine followed.

Despite being reliant on Maya Zilbershlag, who has averaged 18.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, Israel have plenty of talent at their disposal in the form of Maayan Gorin, who is putting up 16.0 points over the four games played and Tamar Carmi, who isn't far behind, scoring 15.8 points.

Bulgaria finished second in the group with a 3-1 record to join Israel in the Quarter-Finals.

Austria squeeze to top spot in Group C

Despite narrowly losing their last Group C game to Ireland, Austria finish the pool top of the pile with a 3-1 record, pipping the three-way tie with Lithuania and Ireland on head-to-head.

Austria's 54-44 victory over Lithuania proved to be a factor in their qualification, with Lithuania's 58-47 success over Ireland putting them through as runners-up ahead of Ireland.

Austria were guided by Sophia Kuranovic, who averaged 11.0 points in a well-balanced Austrian attack.
