ORADEA (Romania) - The FIBA U16 EuroBasket Quarter-Finals are set, following a thrilling Round of 16 loaded with solid team performances and individual brilliance.
Among the teams that have advanced to the last eight are the four unbeaten teams from the Group Phase, as Lithuania, Spain, Latvia and France all punched their respective tickets.

Top Performers
Despite struggling from the field, it didn’t deter Benjamin Berrouet from being the star of the show for Latvia once again, as he went one assist shy of a triple-double. He managed 12 points, with 8 of his points coming from the foul line, 14 rebounds and 9 assists in his side’s comfortable 99-59 success over Serbia.
Another player that put in big all-round numbers was Romania’s Sebastian-Petru Lapuste, as he starred for the hosts in their 71-62 win over Turkiye. Lapuste flirted with a rare quadruple-double, as he settled for 26 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 steals in a phenomenal showing.
Joy for Romania, but despair for Türkiye, who fell at the Round of 16. They were led by Arda Ozturk, who amassed 23 points, 13 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the loss.
Poland’s explosive 25-7 fourth quarter proved to be the big turning point in their 96-68 win over Czechia in the Round of 16. However, Alan Chojnacki was sensational throughout, leading the way with 26 points, going 5-for-9 from three-point range, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals to seal their passage to the Quarter-Finals.
Johan Meinberg helped Germany edge into the Quarter-Finals with a slender 78-75 victory over Israel, who made the Germans work hard for their success. Meinberg had 12 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks in the win.
