    Henry joins list of 3x3 alumni in the NBA

    After a successful basketball career at Illinois and DePaul university, the 25-year-old Chicago native took over the 3x3 scene in 2016 by winning his first 28 3x3 games, including the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Americas Masters in Mexico City on September 23-24 (where he was named MVP).

    The winning streak came to an end at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2016 in Guangzhou, China on October 27 after an epic final against Serbia.

    Never before had USA won a single medal at the 3x3 World Cup in the men's category.

    Myke 'Buckets' Henry was named on the Team of the Tournament after his stellar play.

    His teammate on that team Alfonzo McKinnie had signed his own first NBA contract earlier this season with the Toronto Raptors.

    Four 3x3 alumni currently play in the NBA, including FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2012 and 2013 participant Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (Brooklyn Nets) and FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2015 player Zach Collins (Portland Trailblazers).
