The winners of the regional qualifier will secure their place in the final round, which will take place in Abidjan in August.

    ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - Guinea has been confirmed as the host of the Zone 2 qualifiers for the 2026 FIBA U18 AfroBasket tournaments for both boys and girls.

    In the boys' tournament, Guinea will play neighbouring Guinea-Bissau, and in the girls' qualifiers, they will play Senegal.

    The games are scheduled to take place in Conakry, the capital city, from 10 to 17 July.

    Details about the competition system will be confirmed at a later date.

    The 2026 FIBA U18 AfroBasket tournaments will take place in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire from 5-16 August.
