MONGOLIA – As Spain’s men’s side made history winning their first-ever FIBA 3x3 World Cup, Guim Expósito was named MVP of the competition
With 30 points throughout the week of action in front of 50,000 in Ulaanbaatar, the Spaniard was one of the most efficient and effective players in the competition, leading his side expertly through several challenges as the 12th-seeded team secured gold when it was all said and done.
Taking home MVP honours, Expósito was joined in the Team of the Tournament by Switzerland’s Natan Jurkovitz, whose side took home the silver medal, and Serbia’s Strahinja Stojacic as the Serbs secured their first-ever World Cup bronze.
