GUINEA (Olympic Solidarity Basketball Coaching Clinic) - The Olympic Solidarity coaching clinic Level 2 (intermediate) was held from June 1 to 8, 2007. It was conducted by the FIBA Africa expert, M. Lémou Benga (CIV).
The good quality of this clinic was confirmed by the motivation of a group of 33 highly interested coaches, out of which 18 passed the theoretical final examination, enabling them to attend an advanced course (Level 3).
However, the expert experienced some difficulties due to the poor state of the facilities and equipment at his disposal; this was mainly due to the lack of financial income generated by the Federation.
Nevertheless, the expert truly believed that the clinic was a success and that there has been a thorough improvement both with the general organization and the level of the participants, since the last clinic he conducted in 2006.
