Greece and Portugal set the pace ahead of the Semi-Finals
Greece and Portugal head into the Semi-Finals unbeaten in the tournament so far, having won all their Group Phase and Qualifying games.
The Greeks defeated Slovakia 67-54 in their Group E Qualifier game to finish 3-0. Foteini Syrpa led the way in the victory, finishing with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
They will be joined by Portugal, who also finished with a spotless 3-0 record in the Group F Qualifiers, having gone 2-0 in the Group Phase.
They capped off their solid tournament so far with a resounding 94-52 win over hosts Bulgaria, just the latest in a string of double-digit wins, with an average margin of 33.5 points.
Despite the loss to Greece, Slovakia will also head into the Semi-Finals, having ended Group E with a 2-1 record. Before that, they were unbeaten in the tournament, so they will hope that the setback against the Greeks was a minor speed bump.
Completing the Semi-Final lineup will be Montenegro, who secured a straightforward 67-48 triumph over the Netherlands.
They finished Group F with a 2-1 record and will face off against Greece in the final four.
