GRE - Vassilis Spanoulis: “First target is to beat China”

ANKARA (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Greek National Team’s star player Vassilis Spanoulis talked about the championship and his team after practice for 2010 FIBA World Championship in Ankara.

Talking about Group C and their aim Spanoulis said “Obviously this is a very tough group. We take every game one step at a time at the World Championship.

Thus our first target is China tomorrow. Our aim is to end this round as the first in the group but step by step. First China, then others”.

Vassilis Spanoulis, evaluating the situation of many star players missing the championship said, “Ofcourse it would be a lot better and more entertaining if everyone was here but the players here are good players. These players are enough to make this a great championship. These are the players we have here now so we can not talk about the ones that are absent”.
