MALAGA (2010 FIBA World Championship) - Unicaja Malaga’s Greece star Georgios Printezis may an operation on the shoulder he injured on Sunday at Cajasol Sevilla.

Printezis, a revelation at the EuroBasket in Poland where he helped Greece win a bronze medal and qualify for the 2010 FIBA World Championship, slam-dunked with two hands on a fast break against Cajasol but lost his balance and landed on his shoulder.

Doctors discovered that Printezis had suffered a fractured acromion and now the club has released a statement that says Printezis “ruptured the posterior labrum which leads to right posterior shoulder instability” and added that he may need an operation.
