RHODES (A1 Ethniki) - Pat Calathes is fitting in just fine at Kolossos following his move from Maroussi.

The 25-year-old, who has received a dramatic increase in playing time this season, was named MVP of Week Seven in the Greek top flight after pouring in 32 points in his team's 91-73 win over AEK Athens.

Calathes, who played college basketball at St Joseph’s in Philadelphia and has a brother, Nick, that plays in Greece with Panathinaikos, said: "The most important thing is being on the winning team.

"I felt good Saturday but it was my teammates who helped me to play so well.

"They gave me very good passes, I had a lot of open shots, so I scored a lot of points.

"I do my best to win with the group. That is my only goal in every game."

Calathes is averaging 14.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

He is playing 32 minutes per game compared to 13.8 last season and 10.1 the year before.

Kolossos are among several teams with 4-3 records that trail unbeaten Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, who are both 7-0.
