GREECE (A1 Ethniki) - Rivals Olympiacos and Panathinaikos stay tied at the top of the A1 Ethniki table after both sides cruised to easy home wins at the weekend.
Lithuania's Linas Kleiza had 25 points and Josh childress added 19 as The Reds crushed visiting Panellinios 90-75 while Sarunas Jasikevicius and Vassilis Spanoulis combined for 32 points as the defending champions Greens pummeled Kolossos Rhodes 92-60. Panathinaikos were without Mike Batiste, Kostas Tsartsaris and Drew Nicholas who all missed out through injuries.
Third-place Marousi stayed within striking distance of the top-two with a 75-67 derby win over Aris - playing their first league game under David Blatt - that extended their winning streak to nine. Konstantinos Kaimakoglou went for 19 points and seven rebounds and Gordon Lukas had a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards.
Todor Gecevski recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds as PAOK held off visiting GS Olympia Larissa 66-56, a result which saw Anastasios Markopoulos' side climb up into sixth place in the standings.
