ATHENS (FIBA World Championship) - Greece are breathing a sigh of relief after avoiding a serious injury for the second day running.

Experienced center Ioannis Bourousis was taken for x-rays on his right wrist after experiencing discomfort but has been given the all clear.

Bourousis, who played for his country at both the 2008 Olympics - averaging 11.7 points and 5.2 rebounds - and the 2009 EuroBasket, where he returned figures of 10.4 points and 7.2 rebounds, is now due to train with the team on Saturday.

The news comes only a day after guard Nick Calathes was taken for tests on his toe, revealing a nail infection which will nevertheless allow him to return to training by Saturday.
