GRE - Backstage interview with Vasileios SPANOULIS [Video]

ROMA (Olympics/Euroleague) – Vassilis Spanoulis spent a year in America with the Houston Rockets, but now he’s back where he belongs. That’s what all of his fans in Greece and at Panathinaikos say about the sharp-shooting guard who helped fire the Greece national team to gold at EuroBasket 2005 and silver at the 2006 FIBA World Championship. What did Spanoulis miss when he was in America? He missed everything, but most of all the basketball and the fans in Europe. He’ll do his best in July to help Greece reach the Beijing Games when he and his teammates play at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Athens. He spoke to FIBA after a recent Euroleague game.
