    Chris Goulding made 9 three-pointers against Thailand

    BANGKOK (Thailand) - Chris Goulding caught fire in Thailand, breaking the Continental Cup Qualifiers single-game record as Australia beat Thailand 101-48.

    Goulding made nine three-pointers, the most three-pointers made in a single Continental Cup Qualifiers game since the new qualification system was implemented in 2017.

    The sharpshooter quickly went to work, scoring the first points of the game on a three-pointer - setting the tone for what was to come. He ended the first quarter with his third three-pointer, fading away to the side to beat the buzzer.

    He made seven three-point shots in the first half to tie the Asia Cup Qualifiers record and tied the overall Continental Cup Qualifiers record in the first minute of the third quarter.

    He started the fourth quarter and didn't waste time to finally break the record with the first points of the final interval.

    Goulding scored all of his points from beyond the three-point arc, finishing the game with 27 points while also getting two rebounds and 2 assists.
