“Of course I don't really enjoy losing. But in this kind of game having fun is the main thing,” said EnBW Ludwigsburg coach Silvano Poropat, who led the South team.

Meanwhile, New Yorker Phantoms have completed the signing of 29-year-old American forward Awvee Storey.

The Arizona State University product arrives in Germany from NBA D-League outfit Dakota Wizards, where he averaged 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.67 steals per game.

Phantoms coach Emir Mutapcic said: “Awvee is a flexible player who not only can play different positions but also take over different roles within the team.

“Regardless if he's our rebounder, toughest defender or scorer, with his experience Awvee gives us what is needed on the court at that time.”
