After an easy victory over Würzburg Turkish of German champion OPEL SKYLINERS Coach Murat Didin could not believe and was not able to find his words when he first heard, that the FIBA World Championship 2010 will be staged in his country.
"I am very happy to hear this good news. I hope that we present the whole world what Turkish basketball is able to organize such an event," Didin said.
Didin is convinced that hosting this major event in his country will benefit the young generation.
"This is a big chance for the young basketball players in Turkey
I also hope, that we get the same impulses like Greece in 1998," he added.
