Quotes:
Dirk Bauermann (Head Coach, Germany): I congratulate Jordan because they fought all the way to the end. We were very unlucky in this championship, but my team proved to have the quality to play here. I’d like to thank Turkish people in Kayseri, they were great. I’m only upset about not going to the beautiful city of Istanbul.
Heiko Schaffartzik (Guard, Germany): It’s good to win today but we are disappointed at not going to Istanbul. We have enough motivation for next year. People here were very friendly and they smile a lot.
Mario Palma (Head Coach, Jordan): Technically Germany played very well and they kept pressuring us. Germany has young but very talented players. The surprising thing is not that they won against us but they are not continuing to the next round.
Zaid ABBAS (Forward, Jordan): We had a good tournament and we gained experience here. Next time we will be more experienced and we hope to continue to the next round next time.
