GERMANY (Beko Basketball Bundesliga) - Local favourite Chris Ensminger garnered MVP honours after leading hosts Team South to a 102-92 win over Team North in the German League all-star game in Bonn at the weekend.

Ensminger of Telekom Bonn finished with 16 points and nine rebounds in a highly-entertaining game that had it all for fans to enjoy - dunks, three-pointers and up-and-down play.

The home side used a strong third quarter to erase a three-point halftime deficit and once they took the lead, they held on to it the rest of the way.

Michael King of EnBW Ludwigsburg added 17 points to Team South's winning cause and forward Jeff Gibbs of Eisbaren Bremerhaven paced Team north with 16 points.

In the weekend's other events, the slam dunk contest was won by TBB Trier's guard Jamal Shuler while BC Gottingen's Taylor Rochestie triumphed in the three-point shootout.
