SINGAPORE (Youth Olympic Games) - FIBA’s Kristian Santiago talked to Germany’s center Felicitas Grasshoff about her experience in Singapore so far. Grasshoff, who spent the past year in Phoenix, Arizona, signed recently with Phoenix Hagen wich is playing in the second professional division of Germany.
FIBA: Felicitas, what are your first impressions been like since arriving here in Singapore?
Grasshoff: We arrived three days ago and I really like this place, although it’s a bit different to Germany, as it’s raining a lot and it’s so humid here but I’m enjoying Singapore so far!
FIBA: Where you able to see some tourist attractions in and around the city?
Grasshoff: Not really much of it. Mostly the streets in between our hotel and the gym, but thanks to the opening ceremony, we were able to see the beautiful skyline of the city and I hope to see more within the next days.
FIBA: How is it to play 3-on-3? Did you experience any difficulties?
Grasshoff: It’s of course a bit different to play, but we as a team are doing quite well and our communication on and off the court is just great, so I think we can make it pretty far in this tournament.
