From zero to Hériaud: the FIBA 3x3 Women's Ranking has new leader

NANTES (FIBA 3x3) - France's brand new 3x3 star Caroline Heriaud is now on top of the FIBA 3x3 Individual World Ranking, in the women's category.

NANTES (FIBA 3x3) - France 3x3 star Caroline Hériaud has taken over as new number one of the FIBA 3x3 Individual World Ranking in the women's category since July 21, 2018.

The 21-year-old replaced Asia Cup 2018 silver medalist YingYun Li (China) - who briefly overtook Vivien Böröndy of Hungary - on top of the rankings.

After her French senior national team debut in 2017 (10th at the World Cup, 4th at the Europe Cup), the 5ft 5in (1.65m) dragster switched gear in 2018. She won gold for France at the Mediterranean Games, led the country to a perfect 16-0 record at the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League so far this season. She even won the French Superleague a week ago.
