Cape Verde is in the last phase of the preparations and so is Cameroon. The two nations are currently seating in the gym and working hard to surprise the other participating countries at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Athens, which is around the corner (14th -20th of July).
Take a look on both teams here and here.

Cape Verde and Cameroon were set to meet in a tournament in Paris which was cancelled in the last minute as Cameroon declined to participate. Now Cape Verde will be playing a team of African players of the French Pro A on Wednesday and the Lebanese on Thursday before they are leaving for Athens on Friday.

In an interview given to Okabol.com, Coach Eric Silva was pleased with the recent developments within the team and the important creation of a team spirit coupled with the recent results against the teams of French Pro B (98-69 vs. Nanterre) and National 3 (111-58 vs. Sartrouville).
However the cancellation of Cameroon to play Cape Verde was disappointing but he looks forward to play Lebanon and the African players from Pro A, which will serve as the main tests before the departure to Greece.
Lazare Adingono's (Coach of Cameroon) interview can be heard in English on the link mentioned above.
It's still open if Luc Richard Mbah A Moute will join the team in Athens, he is currently in Milwaukee and may play in the NBA Summerleague in Las Vegas next week instead.
The "Indomitable Lions" are going to test against a team in Roche Moliere on Friday before departing to Athens on Saturday.
