    Top Performers

The top performance of the day came in a losing effort as Seppe Voet could not keep Belgium from falling to Lithuania in Classification 9-16 with a 95-80 loss. Voet came into the game with 30 points combined from the first four games but poured in 34 against Lithuania while also adding 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.

Slovenia stormed into the Semi-Finals for the second time in three summers as they cruised past Türkiye 90-72 in front of the home fans. Urban Kroflic was an all-around force for Slovenia with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal.

Spain were waiting since 2022 for their first Quarter-Finals win in this competition and Jorge Carot made sure that drought would end. The big man collected 18 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in Spain's comfortable 88-69 win over Germany.

Another major reason Spain downed Germany 88-69 in the Quarter-Finals was point guard Raul Villar. The playmaker not only scored 16 points but he dished out 12 assists - just one off a spot in the top 10 all-time in a single game. Villar also picked up 1 rebound, 3 steals and 1 block.

France were staring down the barrel of their first elimination at the Quarter-Finals stage since 2022 as they trailed promoted Croatia by 10 points with 7 minutes to go. Mohamed Sankhe helped spark a 15-5 run to tie the game and the French opened overtime with the first 10 points in winning 76-66.

The starting center Sankhe scored 18 points to go with 11 rebounds - 7 from the offensive glass- and 1 steal in the comeback win. Sankhe did go down with an ankle injury in overtime and needed to be helped to the locker room.
