ATHENS (Greece) - France used a strong third-quarter performance to beat a Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Greece side 92-77 in Athens.
The result concludes a flawless preparation window for France ahead of FIBA EuroBasket 2025, as this latest win secures a 5-0 record, one of only three teams to finish the warm-ups undefeated, alongside Serbia and Finland.
Theo Maledon led France with 16 points on 4-for-4 shooting and 6-for-6 from the foul line as they fought from a 49-43 half-time deficit to explode into life with a 7-0 start in the third, leading up to a 71-61 cushion heading into the final period, and they maintained their advantage throughout.
Antetokounmpo led Greece with 20 points, 12 of which came from the foul line, as they concluded their preparation with a 4-3 record, and now look to starting out in Limassol, Cyprus for Group C action.
