VALENCIENNES (Ligue Feminine) - USVO Valenciennes eased into the Ligue Feminine finals after beating USO Mondeville 62-60 in their last-four second leg to complete a comfortable aggregate victory.
In a match-up between two teams who competed in EuroLeague Women this year, USVO came into the return fixture with a 25-point cushion thanks to an 81-56 win in the first leg.
USO were not blown away this time, but still found it difficult to stifle the threat of the hosts' Australian star Kristi Harrower (12 points) and France international Sandrine Gruda (14 points).
USVO progress to their seventh successive finals where they will face either Bourges Basket or Villeneuve-d'Ascq in a best-of-three series.
Bourges, who reached the Final Four in this season's EuroLeague, won the first leg of the semi-final 63-61 away.
