The 2.07m center, who is at the team's training camp in Pau, has agreed a two year deal with Lottomarica Roma. The deal includes an option for a third season.
The 25-year-old spent the last two seasons in France with ASVEL, where he averaged 15.6 points, 5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in league play last season.
At last year's EuroBasket, Traore recorded 6.8ppg and 1.9rpg for France.
