SAN ANTONIO (NBA/Olympics) - Tony Parker took a couple of days off at the end of the regular season with San Antonio having already locked up first place in the NBA's Western Conference and he watched as teammate Patty Mills served as the conductor of the Spurs’ orchestra.

Now that the play-offs are underway, though, Parker is back on the floor and reminding everyone that the 2011-12 Spurs are his team, and that he runs it better than anyone else.

The France international is either scoring, setting up easy buckets for others, coming up with steals and or most important, leading.

Parker followed up his team-high 28-point and eight-assist performance in a 106-91 victory over Utah in Game 1 with 18 points and nine assists in Wednesday's 114-83 triumph in Game 2.

Due largely to Parker, the Spurs are making it look very easy against the Jazz.

So what can Utah or any other team do right now to stop the Frenchman, an all-tournament selection at last year’s EuroBasket?

Might teams resort to delivering some hard fouls?

“It’s pretty much that nothing new can be thrown at him at this point,” said San Antonio veteran Tim Duncan.

“He’s seen everything, so he’s going to adapt his game on the fly.”

Parker will make his debut at the Olympics with France come July, and what a moment that will be for him and French basketball!

But when it comes to the play-offs and title series, as they say, three-time NBA champion Parker has “been there and done that”.

There are a lot of games to win if the Spurs are to capture another NBA title.

Right now, though, Parker is wheeling and dealing like never before and making his side look like the team to beat.
