ALPE D'HUEZ (FIBA World Championship for Women) - Pierre Vincent has today begun work with 21 players as France start their preparations for the FIBA World Championship for Women.
The squad have gathered in Alpe d'Huez where they will remain until August 20.
They will then begin a series of warm-up games, starting with a match-up against Senegal in Deauville, ahead of the tournament in the Czech Republic which starts on September 23.
One player who is not yet with the squad is Connecticut Suns star Sandrine Gruda, who will join the team at the end of the WNBA season.
