CHALON (LNB) - Elan Chalon/Saône have rewarded star player Blake Schilb with a two-year extension.

Riding the hot hand of Schilb at the weekend, Chalon beat Limoges to win the Coupe de France.

The 27-year-old, who had 26 points in that triumph, will now be with the club through the 2013-14 campaign.

Schilb joined the team last summer and averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

He finished third in the voting for the best foreign player, an honor that went to the Dominican Republic's Sammy Mejia of Cholet.

A native of the United States, Schilb graduated from Loyola University Chicago as the school's fourth all-time leading scorer.

The French LNB play-offs tip off on Tuesday night with Roanne visiting Gravelines-Dunkerque and Cholet at home to Le Mans.

On Wednesday, Schilb and Chalon take on visiting ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne and Hyeres-Toulon travel to Nancy.
