COLORADO SPRINGS (USA) - The United States roster for the 2026 Nike Hoop Summit is highlighted by four players who last summer captured the title at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025 - Caleb Holt, Brandon McCoy, Jordan Smith Jr and Tyran Stokes.
That quartet will be joined for the 27th edition of the U19 showcase against the World Select Team by Bruce Branch III, Christian Collins, Jason Crowe Jr., Caleb Gaskins, Deron Rippey Jr., Ethan Taylor, Cameron Williams and Elijah Williams. The USA team will be coached by Nick LoGalbo and his assistants David Rebibo and Larry Thompson.
The Hoop Summit will be played on Saturday April 11 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Holt, McCoy, Smith and Stokes were part of the USA team that reclaimed the FIBA U19 World Cup crown after the country crashed to fourth place in 2023.
Holt was the third-leading scorer on the team with 10.0 points while shooting 52 percent on three-pointers with Stokes right behind him at 9.7 points per game. Holt led the team in steals at 2.7 and Smith was second at 2.0 swipes per game.
Stokes made history last summer in Lausanne as he collected 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in USA’s Round of 16 blowout win over Jordan. He became the first USA player to register a triple-double at the U19 World Cup and was just the sixth documented triple-double in U19 World Cup history.
Holt, McCoy and Stokes also helped USA win the FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2024 and FIBA U16 AmeriCup 2023 while Smith was on the U18 title-winning squad in 2024.
All of the other players except for Taylor have participated in at least one USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team minicamps in the past.
Stokes (No. 1), Duke-bound Williams (No. 2), Smith (No. 3), Holt (No. 5), Branch (No. 6) and Collins (No. 8) are all among the top-10 ranked high school seniors in the ESPN player rankings.
LoGalbo has led USA to three titles - the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2021 and 2022 and the FIBA 3x3 U18 Women’s World Cup 2022. He was also an assistant at the Hoop Summit in 2023 and 2024.
USA have recorded 19 victories over the World team in the first 26 Hoop Summits, including a 124-114 win in 2025 with AJ Dybantsa and Darius Acuff both scoring 24 points and Cameron Boozer totaling 22 points and a Hoop Summit record 16 rebounds.
The World Select team will be announced at a later date.
