MIES (Switzerland) - The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series returns in 2026 with the world’s top women’s 3x3 basketball players competing across the World before the Shanghai Final. The season starts in Chengdu (China) on May 1-2, opening the flagship women’s professional circuit. The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series then moves to Manila (Philippines) on May 7-8 and Shanghai (China) on May 16-17 as early momentum builds in Asia. "The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series continues to set the standard for women’s 3x3 basketball worldwide," said Alex Sanchez, Managing Director of 3x3 basketball at FIBA. "The competition reflects FIBA’s strong commitment to advancing Women in Basketball and ensuring athletes everywhere have access to international opportunities. In 2026, we will take the energy of 3x3 basketball worldwide, bringing the game closer to communities and creating unforgettable moments for players, organizers and fans."
Expanded run shapes June schedule
Following the opening Stop in Chengdu, the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series enters a dense June stretch spanning Europe and Asia, beginning in Vienna (Austria) on June 12-13. The season then travels through Orléans (France) and Amsterdam (Netherlands) before continuing to Sumgait (Azerbaijan), Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) and Poitiers (France) in a cross-continental run that reflects the global footprint of women’s 3x3 basketball.
Summer run across key urban stages
Action resumes in July with stops in Marseille (France) on July 3-4, Marbella (Spain) on July 9-10, Baku (Azerbaijan) on July 18-19 and Batam (Indonesia) on July 23-24. Asia returns to the spotlight in August as the circuit moves through Tokyo (Japan), Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and Takasaki (Japan), alongside European hosts Sea Breeze (Azerbaijan), Bordeaux (France) and Debrecen (Hungary).
Additional stops
After this first announcement, FIBA expects that additional stops will be included in the 2026 season.
Season finale
The season concludes at the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final 2026 on September 5-6, where the top teams compete for the season title.

Created in 2019, the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series is the number one event on the 3x3 women's professional circuit. France won the 3x3 Women’s Series in both 2014 and 2019, while Germany claimed the title in 2021, and Canada won in 2022, 2023 and 2025. The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series welcomes National Federations and private teams alike.
