After making a historic run to the Semi-Finals and losing to France, there's still a chance for host nation Germany to record what would be a remarkable first ever podium finish.
Playing in only their second ever edition and having opened up the tournament with a huge loss, they've left home fans entertained and proud with their displays since - led mainly by the presence and play of Leonie Fiebich.
After being defeated by USA in the Semi-Finals, Spain will be determined to make a return to the podium. Especially after not punching a ticket to the 2022 edition in Sydney. But with rising stars Awa Fam and Iyana Martin both in-form, they will feel confident of adding to their tally of two Women's World Cup bronze (2010, 2018) and a silver (2014).

France showed their status as one of the favorites was justified with a strong display against Germany in the Semi-Finals to book a maiden Final spot and secure a first podium finish in 73 years. Gabby Williams posted a dominant display and she will spearhead her nations' attempt to win the Women's World Cup for the first time.
USA will look to make it five consecutive crowns and their 12th title overall when they meet France in an eagerly anticipated repeat of the thrilling Paris 2024 gold medal game. The reigning FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup champions will step out in the Final for the 11th time in 13 editions and have not lost in the showpiece since 1983.
