Team Characteristics
Talented team with good balance and length on the wings and front line. Straight forward approach to the game. Good half court man to man defense limits quality shots by opponent and rebound well on defensive glass. Force ball out of the post and away from the basket with success. Collection of good passers that reverse the ball, penetrate and distort defenses in the half court. Good team concept allow them to be competitive each game. 
 

Offensive Tendencies    
Establishing an inside game is a big part of their game. Like to have post touch on majority of possessions. Posts will play inside and outside with ability to knock down three point shots making for tough match ups. Will use the shot clock to their advantage and play for best shot possible late in the clock. 

Transition    
Transition is keyed by quick outlet pass or run out after rebounding a miss. Get the ball up the floor quickly and look to score right away. Other options are to penetrate and pitch, use on ball screens by posts, or get to the paint. Many different players are capable of bring ball up the floor and making play.


Set Plays   
1. Entry to high post, cut through, down screen, baseline runner, screen for screener action     
2. Dribble hand off to wing, on ball screen and roll, pass to high post, hi/low action    
3. Double high on ball screens, flare screen for point, on ball screen and roll    

Zone Offense    
Effective man to man principles are incorporated into zone offense. Post set a lot of high post screens and roll to paint. Posts can also screen and step back for open three point shot. Shooters cut from corner to corner for shots. Penetration is helpful against gaps in the zone. Good passing skills help them attack the zone with efficiency.

Defense Tendencies   
Very physical in half court defensive system. Like to make body contact on cutters and force in different direction. Double the post when ball is entered to force pass back outside. Big posts create blocked shots and many altered shots in the paint. Will gamble in pass lane to create steals and run out baskets.
