MUNICH (Germany) - The road to FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2027 tipped off with 27 national teams entering the First Round of the Qualifiers.
The winners and runners-up from each group, along with the three best-ranked third-placed teams – 17 teams in total – will progress to the Second Round.
They will be joined by Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Türkiye, who complete the 24-team lineup for the next phase by qualifying for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments.

The four FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 co-hosts – Belgium, Finland, Lithuania and Sweden – are qualified for the Final Round of the event automatically and have been placed in a separate group, which will be played throughout the Qualifiers campaign.
