PUERTO MONTT (2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women) - Four teams have already secured their place in the Quarter Finals, others teams are getting hot from long range, and the tournament saw it's first game-winning buzzer beater.
Here is a look at what the coaches and players had to say on Day Four of the FIBA U19 World Championship for Women:
"I don't think I have ever hit a shot like this before." - France guard Helena Akmouche after her last second game winner against Spain.
"Every person here supports you, and even if they are not for either country. It was really important to have this crowd, and maybe this is why we made some big shots." - Akmouche again, talking about the packed and raucous Puerto Varas crowd.
"So some of our girls have woken up, it is very good news for France!" - coach Jerome Fournier after two of his star players, Adja Konteh and Clarince Djaldi-Tabdi Clarince, had breakout games against Spain.
"This is the first time I have played for Japan, so I was very nervous before the game. But during the game I forgot to be nervous and I enjoyed it very much!" - Shiori Takada after she nailed 8/10 three-pointers on her way to 31 points in Japan's demolition of Italy.
"We have got to somehow slow the game down, but that's easier said than done." - Canada coach Rich Chambers on his team's match-up with Japan.
"My players are small players, so they get tired, but they just relax and shoot, relax and shoot." - Japan coach Eiki Umezaki explains how his team plays high pressure defence and shoots at such a high percentage.
"To guard a team that shoots 65% from three point line is difficult to defend, not just for us but for anyone." - Affable Italy coach Giovanni Lucchesi states the obvious after his team ran into a red hot Japan.
"Tomorrow is no problem! For us it is a great experience to play against the USA, when we grow up in Italy we dream of playing against the USA and their great players." - Lucchesi again about their impending date with the USA.
"We were in shock at first, we didn't know what to expect, and we didn't know how good the players were, we had only watched them." - Egypt captain Sara Massoud on her country's first trip to the FIBA U19 World Championship for Women.
"I hope Egypt gets another chance to play at the world championship, it really was a great experience. It was a lot of fun!" - Massoud again, explaining how much she enjoyed her time in Chile despite her team not recording a victory.
"I think our team needs to really remember what we're here for, take it seriously and get themselves ready to go and understand that we're going to get everybody's best shot." - USA coach Jennifer Rizzotti after her team's close shave with China.
"The coach didn't say anything about winning before the game so everyone was relaxed and able to play their best." - Jiayi Zuo, on her team's approach to the USA, after she scored 23 points to nearly spearhead a monumental upset.
