PRAGUE (FIBA U19 World Championship) - Lithuania were the first team to book their ticket to the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship Semi-Finals as four players scored in double figures in a convincing 89-58 victory over China.
Marius Grigonis and Jokubas Gintvainis led the way with 12 points each while Justas Tamulis and Tomas Dimsa both scored 11 points. Eleven of Lithunia's players scored at least four points.
Lithuania will face the winner of the game between United States and Canada in the Semi-Final.
China started off hot from the field, especially Shuai Yuan, who scored 11 points in the first half. And the Asians - making their first appearance in the Quarter-Finals of this tournament - trailed just 32-30 in the second quarter.
But Gintvainis and Simas Raupys combined for 12 points in a 21-2 run spanning the second and third quarters to take a 55-32 lead. And the Europeans never looked back.
Yuan finished with 18 points while Ji Wei Zhao scored 17 points for China, who will take on the loser between the USA and Canada in the Classification Round 5-8.
China center Qi Zhou went scoreless in 14 minutes with two rebounds and one block.
