Team Characteristics
Very reliant on their low post play and options it presents. Post are hard to guard inside with a variety of moves an angles to the basket. After ball screens they can step back and shoot the three. Like to penetrate in the half court to compromise defense and force weak side help. Good team concept utilizing the strengths of all players.
Offensive Tendencies
Due to size and match up difficulties this team is hard to defend. Posts are efficient inside and outside, able to step out and shoot three. Inside a variety of up and under moves and step throughs allow them easy angles to the basket. Excellent cutting team from the weak side keeps the defense constantly adjusting. Penetration is also a staple of their offensive attack presenting a consistent threat to the rim.
Transition
Easy baskets come from turnovers and quick outlet passes. Penetration to paint or pass to open wing shooters is the goal. Will reverse ball from side to side looking for post up. Set early screens in transition to free the ball handler.
Set Plays
1. Double high on ball set, opposite post down screens for wing for shot.

2. Wing entry, shuffle screen and cut, double stagger screen away.

3. High post entry, fake hand off, two weak side screens for shooters.

Out of Bounds
Underneath play involves screen the screener action with post rolling back to ball. From the side they run a simple give and go cut for pass to inbounds passer for layup.
Defense Tendencies
Play in the full and half court with ball and passing lane pressure. Full court is man to man with run and jump options with traps. Half court ball pressure and pass denial dictate the flow of the offense. May double the post on post catch. Block and rebound well.
