    ISTANBUL (Türkiye) - The pairings and schedule for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026 Final and Third Place Game are now confirmed following the successful conclusion of the Semi-Finals in Istanbul, Türkiye.

    Third Place Game

    The Final and Third Place Game will take place on Sunday July 5 with games at the Basketball Development Center.

    • AUS vs TUR - 17:15 CET

    Australia and Türkiye have one final opportunity to leave the tournament with hardware as they battle in the Third Place Game. Australia are hoping to bounce back from their Semi-Finals loss to USA and reach the podium for a third time. The Crocs took second in 2012 and 2014. Türkiye lost their first game of the tournament to Serbia and are now out to match their third place from 2024 to go along with their second placed finish in 2016.

    Final

    • USA vs SRB - 20:15 CET

    USA are just one victory from finishing off an eighth consecutive undefeated run to the title, and the final team standing in the way is Serbia. USA rolled past Australia to move into the Final and improve their all-time record in the competition to 57-0.

    Serbia have already made history by reaching their first U17 World Cup Final following a thrilling victory over hosts Türkiye in the Semi-Finals. The Serbs ' only previous podium finish came in 2014, when they placed third.
