    KAUNAS (2012 FIBA U17 World Championship for Men) - Tickets for this summer’s 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship are now on sale.
     
    You can find all details by visiting the website of the tournament's ticketing partners Tiketa. The website is also available in English.

    Ticket range from €2 to €20 (7-69 Lithuanian litas). Prices vary depending on the position of the seats.

    "Tickets for the FIBA U17 World Championship are very affordable and offer a great opportunity to watch the very best of youth men's basketball from around the world," said FIBA Director of Events Predrag Bogsavljev.

    Daily tickets for the Preliminary Round can be purchased for €2 to €4 (7-14 Lithuanian litas), while daily tickets for the Knockout Round (Quarter-Finals to Finals) range in price between €2.5 and €11.5 (9-39 Lithuanian litas).

    The most dedicated basketball fans can buy a ticket which is valid for the entire FIBA World U17 Championship. This ticket will give access to all 46 games and is available for €20 (69 Lithuanian litas).

    As well as online, tickets are available at Tiketa points of sales across Lithuania.

    "We are very glad to start the sale of tickets for the 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship for Men, the most awaited basketball event in Lithuania this year," said Paulius Motiejūnas, General Manager of Local Organising Committee (LOC). 

    "We are sure the FIBA U17 World Championship will be a great success."

    The FIBA U17 World Championship will be played at Zalgiris Arena, a state-of-the-art venue that was inaugurated at last year's EuroBasket and has a capacity of 14,400 spectators.
