All three countries have furthermore fulfilled FIBA's requirement to bring on a FIBA Global Partner for the period 2010 - 2014.
- China has lined up the leading Chinese telecommunications provider 'Unicom', a global multi billion dollar business with 200 million customers.
- Italy would bring on board 'Unicredit', who have become one of the world's 10 biggest banking groups.
- Spain have secured 'TURESPAÑA', the Tourist Office of Spain.
