HONIARA (Solomon Islands) - FIBA was informed by the New Caledonia Basketball Federation of its decision not to participate in the Bronze Medal Matches against the Solomon Islands at the FIBA Melanesian Cup and FIBA Women’s Melanesian Cup for today, Saturday October 18, 2025.
Due to travel arrangements and flight changes beyond their control, New Caledonia have made this decision.
The games will not take place and will be forfeited in favour of the Solomon Islands.
