PORTLAND (USA) - An array of FIBA young guns are set to showcase their talent against USA at the 2026 Nike Hoop Summit after being chosen to represent the World Select Team.
As usual, the roster for the annual showpiece is soaked with many of the best rising star ballers in the world, with some having already put their name up in lights on the international FIBA stage and at Basketball Without Borders camps.
Some of those ready to step out in Portland have already played at senior level for their respective national teams - including UConn bound Olivia Vukosa.
She recently debuted for Croatia in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers and showed her immense potential, having already lit it up at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024 with some phenomenal displays.
Vukosa also recently won the Gatorade National High School Player of the Year Award and was handed the honor by USA legend, Diana Taurasi.
Meanwhile another UConn Class of 2026 Freshman pick in the shape of playmaker Jovana Popovic has went one better in terms of international achievements, since the Serbian took to the court at FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025.
Excelling at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2025, forward Sitaya Fagan was outstanding for eventual runners-up Australia and has since suited up in the NCAA for USC.
Belgian standout Jada Lynch comes into the spotlight having had a great 2025 calendar year, making the All-Star Five at the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket and also at the Basketball Without Borders camp.
Similarly, Kathy-Emma Otto already has a huge reputation for her body of work, having been named MVP of the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket 2024 and then taking the MVP crown at Basketball Without Borders Europe 2025. She is joined in the lineup by talented compatriot, Emma Broliron.
Sara Okeke of Spain will bring her renowned athleticism, underscored by her ability to dunk. Her influence will be substantial, having been crowned MVP of FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket 2025.
Other ballers on the roster include Canadian duo Emilia Krstrvski and Savannah Swords, who both helped their country make history by making the Final of the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2024.
There are also spots for Eve Long of Nigeria, Ogechi Okeke of Sweden and Ivanna Wilson-Manyack of Cameroon.
The World Select Team will be coached by Jillian Harmon of New Zealand, with the 27th edition of the annual showcase taking place at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon on April 11.
