MIES (Switzerland) - Atrium Sports, a recognized FIBA partner, has been awarded winners of the Best Use of Technology category at Asia’s Sports Industry Awards & Conference for its work with Kilsyth Basketball in piloting the FIBA Connected Stadium.
Earlier this year FIBA and Atrium announced a landmark partnership to deliver the FIBA Connected Stadium to help make basketball the most popular, innovative and digitally advanced sports community in the world. Atrium delivers automated video capturing and production through the FIBA Connected Stadium to FIBA and it's members.
The Kilsyth Basketball project used smart technology including AI-powered Keemotion cameras to automate the production of live basketball games, which was a huge success. Kilsyth streamed over 100 live games including Basketball Australia U14 National Club Championships, NBL1 Games, Big V Youth League Games, VJBL junior games and National Wheelchair matches.
